Yea!! Nana is here!

We are so excited because Nana is here visiting this week. She got here yesterday and will be here until Saturday. Cooper loves his Nana. When she is here, he's not worried about mommy or daddy. It's all about Nana. I'm excited because momma and I are actually going to get to spend some time together as well. Usually when she comes I have a ton of stuff that I need to get done, so she helps out by watching Cooper so I can get things done. This week, I don't have anything to do, so we can just hang out. Michael and Cooper are going to do boy stuff on Friday so momma and I can do some girl stuff. Fun, fun.

Two cheers for Nana!

Nana, I'll show you how to bounce the ball.

Long time no blog

Sorry I don't have any new pictures but I wanted to give a run down of our week. The weather was either really cold or rainy so we spent most of the week inside. Poor Cooper. He hates being cooped up inside. My Gym is changing ownership so they have been closed. It is going to re-open we just don't know when. I enrolled Cooper in preschool. He will start in the Fall and go one day a week from 9-12am. I'm so excited. I think he will have a blast and it will give me a little Mommy time. Landree was here on Thursday, so that was fun. Landree is loving referring to Cooper as te te. It's so cute. I think she must call him that because Cooper is always saying te te. You know, the potty training thing. Our new word for the week is Aubie and it actually sounds like Aubie when he says it. Cooper loves to look at the Auburn progam so we take advantage of that. It was finally pretty again today so we played outside most of the afternoon. Cooper and daddy rode the 4-wheeler and the lawn mower so he was in heaven.

All Day Daddy Day!

Saturday's are Cooper's favorite day of the week because we get to spend the whole day with our daddy. We call it "all day daddy day!" We had an awesome day today. We went to My Gym and the zoo this morning and then spent the afternoon outside. It was absolutely beautiful. They are building a new subdivison down the street from our house so we rode the 4-wheeler down there and played by the lake. This is a picture of the view from our dream lot. Unfortunately, we don't have an extra 3/4 million dollars sitting around so for now we just dream.

What a view.....

but not as beautiful as this view.

Cooper's helping with the grading.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Watch how far I can throw this rock.

Look at that form.

I bet you didn't know I had 2 kids.

Such a super fun day, with our super fun daddy.

Happy Valentine's Day

Cooper got a chair, a book and a baby Einstein video for Valentine's Day. Okay, the chair was more for me than him but look how cute it is. He was so excited. He immediately wanted to watch his new video and read his book.

Its potty time!

Dec. 13, 2007
Our 1st clue that Cooper was interested in the potty.
I wonder were he got this idea?

Today... Feb. 13, 2008.

I'M A BIG BOY NOW!

Call me crazy but we are officially potty training. Cooper did so good today. He only went te te in his diaper this morning and that was my fault. We were out all morning. We went to the gym, to storytime and then to lunch with daddy and didn't get home until 1:00 so he had to go in his diaper. All afternoon and tonight he went in the potty. He has kinda started this on his own. At his 18 month well visit the Dr. gave us some ideas to start introducing him to the potty. We went and got a book about the potty and a potty seat. We started putting him on the potty at night after he got out of the tub. We tried many, many times and only got a drop or two. Then one night he did it! Yeah! Several nights went by and nothing. Then he did it again. Yeah! It was real speratic at first but then he was going almost every night. A couple of nights ago, he said te te so we put him on the potty and he went. So we decided to try this more often and today he did wonderful. I know we have a long way to go (let me know if anyone has any suggestions) but I'm so excited. So as of today, we are official. I went and got big boy pull ups. I hope this works because pulls ups are expensive.

Unbelieveable

I just can't believe how much Cooper is learning. He's so smart and talking up a storm... a lot of it is Coopereze, but we under-
stand him. He will try to say anything that we say. The other day we were eating lunch at Moe's and everytime someone came in Cooper would say, "Welcome to Moe's". It was all one word. Something like welc..to..mo but it was to cute. His best friend in the whole world is Landree Gray. She is 3 months younger than Cooper and is my best friend Jennifer's little girl. I keep Landree one day a week and Jennifer keeps Cooper one day a week. He just recently started saying her name. He gets so excited when he sees her. He'll say... Lnre.... over and over and over again. He is so concerned with Landree. Where she is, what she's doing, does she have a snack too. He loves her. Today, I told Cooper to hold Landree's hand and take her upstairs to take a nap. I just about fell apart when he grabbed her hand and took off to the stairs. They were walking and holding hands. To die for cute. Then Cooper tried to hold her hand and help her up the stairs. That was a sight. He follows directions really well and he's become quite a good little helper.

My Gym

These are some pictures from My Gym. My Gym is a gym for kids of all ages. There's lots of fun stuff to do. Each week we learn a new "skill", we do gynmastics, stretch, sing, swing, we have free play and at the end there is a seperation time where the kids and the parents go into seperate areas. Cooper absolutely loves it. Several of our friends joined as well and we love getting to play with them as well as getting to meet new people.
The ball pit. Cooper's in heaven.

The rings.

Stairs to climb.

The balance beam.

This was one of the gymnastic skills of the week.

The trampoline.

What Fun!!!

Jump, Jump

The word fear apparently is not in our vocabulary. Cooper is all boy. He and his daddy love to do all kinds of daring things. Do you think we may regret letting him do this?

Climb, climb

Get ready,

Get set,

Jump!

WOW!!!! Look at me!

Check out my awesome page. Can you believe I'm a 1st time blogger. Okay... we all know better. Let's all give Jen Gray a round of apoloze. If you can't tell, Cooper LOVES the water. Any standing puddle is fair game.
